creative ASIO will nag everytime you load up soundforge, just set all spdif for recording to line in and you should be able to record and playback

you should have driver sweeped the X-Fi(and its asio drivers), before installing the SB-Z.
Its own asio driver works in cubase for me at least, without problems.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ASIO

soundforge always has the no creative software installed that can use ASIO message box otherwise

and creative ASIO is shit for DAW's, you can pump up the gain and quadrafuzz distortion all you want, but none of it works when using creative ASIO, you need ASIO4ALL or directsound output

the Z line in 48k ASIO is better then traktors built in recording, looping back from your controller
