It helps me yes. Its known to help with awaiting connection hang. Suck it doesn't help you. If you didn't, try doing it while its awaiting connection

Well computer restart did help this time weirdly because it never did before.

web_reload is the one. Spam untill you need to click back. when your friend list shows up properly you are good to go

web_reload, as mentioned before is good, when your friendlist shows up correctly. Also will help with stupid ping-displays, if you spam it a few times.

Then when awaiting connection, \reconnect a few times. Will work sooner or later.

Yes web_reload is the solution. Remember that sometimes it works the first time, sometimes you must do it like 10 times.

disable your firewall, if you can connect, quit thinking you have a brain and set firewall to defaults
