Dirty bomb looks like modern newschool shooters for those COD retards. There is no spirit in game, no core but a bunch of anime like sexy looking polished classes aka TF2 and London city landscape maps....

Devs try to combine, to compile to synthesize something like 'lets take best from game 1, features from game 2 bla bla'..but such frankenshtein is out of soul.

How was ETQW any better than W:ET? I thought it was pretty much accepted that ETQW was a worse competitive game than W:ET, considering that it died so quickly and ET was played competitively for years.

he probably means ETQW: promod. that was very balanced. and had everything you need for competitions.

I was referring to walking speed. It looks slightly faster than that of a standard tf2 class (e.g. medic/engi/pyro).

This game is as close to tf2 as quakeworld is to battlefield. Its a complete different genre.

Im an on\off gamer, altho been playing basically only quake in multiplayer for the past 17 years , so yeah pretty quake biased .

But dirty bomb is the first game ive actually had any interest in playing in regards to multiplayer , alot of killing and some ok movement tricks you can do , speed is livable also . Definetly not CS .

The P2W model is there, but not as pronounced as you would think , but i actually payed some money for my favourite character , instead of gaming hundred hours to get it for free. I personally think its OK to use ~40 eur on a game, but dont see myself spending that amount on money on it just yet .

But as a quake player it does get a little repetative and a little too team biased, its a team game afterall. But there are coming a non objective mode soon, could be fun . When saying its a little too team biased, i say that because im an adult with other concerns in my life, i just want to pop in for some casual high level gaming without team talk.

But it could be a little less cartoony, however, ever seen quake3\ql ? its pretty darn cartoony with all its colors.

Also, overwatch looks really slow and boring . But im always open to be proven wrong.

But doom4 MP , i hope they dont destroy it with "we know best" attitude they been giving for the past games they have made, hopefully it will be a fun 6months thing minimum ,. But not having hopes up, they seem focused on console slowmo gaming so far ive seen. If they had some intelligence they had released some higher level pc mouse\keyboard mp gaming with air rockets\rails . But looks like none in that studio has any mp skill level whatsoever, so meh .
