mmx300 would be best but also the most expensive ones, bought one for 200$ a month ago(russian prices are going crazy with rouble lowering like twice the last few months) after using dt770 for like 8 years which still work, sound and even look(after buying the ear pads like 3 times already) but I just wanted to buy new headphones after so many years. mmx 300 are basically the same but got mic and when I found them for the same price as dt770 I picked them instantly.
Sennheiser(my brother had pc350s) and AudioTechnica AG-1 also seem pretty good but just not as durable as beyerdynamics

Anyway I'd rather buy separate headphones and modmic which would be cheaper and better quality at the same time unless you get a good deal on some headset

the hyperX cloud has actually really caught my eye, i saw those at a few lans in the past and was interested in those, the reviews seems very good too, what are your thoughts on this? :)

they are exactly the same as the QPAD QH-90 right? as i kind of like the QPAD's colour scheme more than the hyper X, very good price too! in a few reviews people compared them to the pc350's and said they're noticeably better

the only quality qpad/hyperx headset is qh-1339 which is made by beyerdynamic and close to mmx 300. I'd rather pick sennheiser headset instead of this hyperx cloud or really look into some headphones plus modmic(it's on massdrop now btw https://www.massdrop.com/buy/antlion-modmic-4)

I love my HD380 pro's, and a few other pairs of sennheiser headphones, but

Assuming the games are developed in the US, I'd assume that any real world recording would be done on shure mics, but hey what do I know?
Then again it's not like headphone brand has much to do with how accurately sound is reproduced, you can get flat headphones from a lot of different companies if you're willing to shell out the money.

I bought the HyperX Cloud on Amazon for $60. Extremely light, comfortable, and at a fraction of the cost. They sound great for me on games, but I'm no audiophile so I can't get into specifics.

I have Sennheiser Hd 380 pros and they are fantastic - a better frequency response and lighter than the Game ones, look very similar without the mic and all black - good sound suppression and fantastic for quake and music.
