Reflex has not been out for a week and it's already time for the first competitive event in its history. I present you with the first iteration of the Reflex Duel King of the Hill event that will take place at
13:00 CST, 12 November 2014!
The events goal is to give people an organized environment where they can compete against each other and at the same time generate enough feedback and study material for the game's developers ultimately helping the game to get further along in its development.

Time: 15:00 CDT - 19:00 CDT
Region: EU & NA (two separate queues for the two regions)
Signup Process
Signup opens one hour before the event start and is done through joining the event channel #reflex.koth in IRC (QuakeNet) and messaging me (WTFProoF) there. It will remain open up until the end of the event. Sign ups will be handled on a first come first serve basis meaning that the people who sign in first get to play first.
Event Format
In round 1 of the event two player fight each other in a Best of One match. The winner gets to stay on the server and is now challenged by a new contestant from the queue, the loser has to leave the server but can sign up again in order to get a second chance on the server (he will be placed at the bottom of the queue). The contestant always picks the map to be played against the current king.

But if the king agrees to a mappick by the contestant that is not on this list the map can be played as well (the king does not have to garee if its not one of the official ones though).
The map to be played between the first two contestants is bdm3.
