Remember many, many, many people ARE ON VACATION in Miami. They are NOT from there. They can empathize with someone on the ground alone, in the sense, they're tourists/strangers.

I saw this some time ago nawak, it's one of the most uplifting vids on YT.
The experiment vid originally posted was flawed in so many ways, strangers helping strangers depends on location and the severity of the situation.

There are assholes (or insensible people rather) and kindhearthed and good people in every country and city. "Social experiments" like the one in this video always only show a kind of "snap-shot" of the situation in a certain location at a certain time. Still interesting to watch though and I am even a bit ashamed for all the people in St. Petersburg just walking by and not doing stuff.
