I mean, if we were all playing with pads, only a few of us could reach your level. You're an exception ;).

On the other hand, how much players with a mouse are high skilled/ pros ? Actually a lot!

I guess if you can market yourself as a pad player then good on you, but unless you compete against high level mouse users then what's the point? Are you trying to show that pad players can be above average? Why not compete on console against other pad players? If you want to get pad play popular in esports you don't, look at consoles in mlg, but on PC? Surely you need to compete to really prove your theory?

Sorry for my ignorance but i'm just curious, what's your end goal?

iirc Gen1us wants to improve input on controllers on consoles for FPS, he made his own program last time I read his vlog to understand what's he's trying to accomplish.

Obviously you just had to watch ESL One last week to see that with a controller you would never be able to do some of the sick actions of Hiko, Scream, etc even if he improves the input (without aim assist etc).

Gen1us probably knows anyway that now many games on PC have controller support, the KB/M users still run over the controller users (with aim assist!).

most of the games that support gamepad are either broken or the developers are just too lazy to come up with decent controls for the controller. i dont like to play my games on a gamepad but for somebody that's trying to help the community a bit more, i can understand that.

Yes im not telling then controller with a good program is better then mouse. I just want to show the possibilities other then console gameplay on call of duty and halo with au to aim.

My goal is to change console gameplay and open an esport world for pad-console only.
So we could have some quake 1v1,counter strike, even league of legends with pad.
Console fps are broke and only auto aim,slow cll of duty games is popular.

But if i show good stuf on pc with against mouse players,im shure i can change some things.

I played shootmania at Gamers asssembly on lan in joust mode.People was discovering something. I was really happy :)
And on this vidéo im playing really hardcore training server.

Getting screams aim on cs,cyphers aim on quake is (for now ) not possible. But im working on it :) Changing to a new xbox one pad got me already better hehe.

why would you want to watch someone use a controller to play fps? it's never going to happen.

i think i get what you are trying to do, but it would never work, and i'll tell you why.

Those twitch settings you have on PC could not be used on a console game. 30fps vs your 300, forced vsync, further away from screen = not good for precise quake/cs aiming.

but it's mainly vsync 30fps that's the problem, you would be assraping yourself trying to play with that, in fact, try and make a video with 30fps and vsync :D

Still, you should show it to some developers. That gamers assembly is exactly what you should be doing, but in front off ppl with influence, if you want to have anything other that current console bs controller slow input changed.

worst input on controller is still snapping and stupidly accel curve too fast and too slow on small movements, they go too insane on the settings often, and the fact that they are different from games to games is a pain in the ass. Why they havent made something default settings in dashboard is annoying. Something you could tailor to your preferences. Some games have fast input, some have very sluggish, some snap WAAY too much(rage, wolfenstein) too little accel, too much etc.

edit: also, where can i dl your program, i want to try it, seems more like you are the one that is very good. Settings does very much, but i would like to try for myself :)

A quick Google search shows several videos and a ton of posts on a bunch of different forums of you advertising this pad vs. mouse crap.

None of the videos ever have you actually visibly playing with a gamepad. Supposedly one video is of you playing shootmania at a LAN, but even there nothing is visible.

Communities have asked you for any kind of proof that you are actually doing this with a gamepad, including videos or even explanations of the software/hardware you claim to have developed, and there has never been any response to that.

Considering the way crosshair movement is in the games you claim to be playing with a gamepad, particularly the flick shots, I call bullshit.

I've seen your other videos and it's very impressive what you did with a gamepad.
For pc that obviously won't work well as you can see from your video, you fumble a lot,
It would be nice if they implemented that on consoles with auto aim of course, as that would be a big step in the right direction for fps as a whole.

How much progress have you made with the software? Are you ever going to release it or just try to get a deal with a console developer? You're probably right that the best approach is to get console players aware that this is possible, because no console dev is going to want to risk implementing this unless there's huge demand. You should be sending these vids to competitive halo and cod players if you're not, since this is interesing to us but it won't change anything.

Yes i am preparing a possible commercial release with a gaming brand. Im doing my best for the console developpers to see all my vidéos. So we can finally change this :)

dunno how you achieve this, very well played. The only game I thought was good with Gamepad was SSX Tricky.

I already told you what i think about the stickpad on vakarm. But to complete i suggest to look after Fitts' law if you want ot compare your custom stick vs any other pointing device (hand include).

Console controllers have their place... but not in FPS games.
