Hey guys, it's been a while!

Tonight Live On Three with Slasher and djWHEAT returns with special guest, 4x QuakeCon Champion

Alexey "Cypher" Yanushevsky. We'll be discussing his recent victory at QuakeCon 2014, now having the most QuakeCon victories of all time, his rivalry with

rapha, and his future playing Quake.

Willing to take some of the top questions from this thread if you guys have some good ones!

For those interested, The International 2014 $5 Million Dota 2 Champions Hao of Team NewBee will also be on the show later on. I will replace the live Twitch link with that of the VOD once the show is over (will be available right away).

What were his thoughts on tox beating rapha and getting top4?

How does this qcon win compare to his other 4 (or is it 5 now?)? Which was the hardest/most full filling as a player?

Who did he feel was his toughest opponent? Out of all the people he played / didn't play. (Tox or others who weren't on his side of the bracket.)

Id talk about the grand final in general. how the maps went individually.

Also wheres thooorin at xD he needs to flood this thread asap!

I assume he'd go for sativas mostly cause indicas are basically just a downer feel. But then again, good sativa is pretty hard to come by in eastern euro, everything is scrub indica trash that people "love"

As for: "You rush too much :D". At that point Cyhpher had totally inhilated mentally. I had no doubt that he would win the match. I think it was just a sign of his own confidence rather than getting under Dahang's skin. His gameplay had already done just that.

it is not about hate or like, it is about their egos & life's attitude, ppl with strong mind set like Cypher and Cooller can't be close friends, mb partners or companions, but not friends for sure. And afaik in some russian interviews Cooller called Cypher the most talented guy, he said that Alexey has that nature feeling of Quake.

So they just respect each over as players :b

Last time I checked on Twitch their show had like 10 000 viewers live

Evil had a translator when they interviewed him on the show

btw, this is not a minor show in esports, they interview pretty much all the big players in esports, including all the EVO champions, The International champions etc etc

The reason they still run Quake coverage is because that's how both Slasher and DjWheat got into esports, and at least Slasher is still passionate about the game.

I think Cypher's answer on whether or not he is the best ever was very humble, that he didn't invent the game but just took it from where the old school players like Cooller, ZeRo4, LeXeR and others started it.
