BENQ released "Version 2" of the BENQ XL2420Z and BENQ XL2720Z.
It makes "BENQ Blur Reduction" better than LightBoost, when combined with Blur Busters Strobe Utility

Blur Busters Strobe Utility for BENQ (requires V2 Firmware)

.... Make it brighter or clearer than LightBoost, even adjust input lag tradeoff

BENQ has V2 Firmware available for download:

To install this V2 Firmware:

If you haven't purchased a Z-Series monitor yet but were planning to, it's now possible to find BENQ Z-Series monitors that already has V2 firmware preinstalled, if you buy from certain places.

Today, just learned from BENQ that they've accepted Strobe Utility as an authorized 3rd party utility:

They even give you instructions on how to get your Z-series upgraded, if you don't want to do the DIY upgrade.

You mean LightBoost lag?

Yes, a little bit less -- with the Strobe Utility, you can adjust a little bit for input-lag versus motion-clarity tradeoff. This one has lower lag than the original XL2420T V1 LightBoost.

I have an CRT from '99 iiyama vision master 450, the basterd don't show my BIOS with my GTX760 ...

I shaked my head, but the ips lcd looked really nice with the colors ...

I did not remember seeing him already in some test i saw before OMG !

bought one a couple of days ago since my old 2nd screen died and i couldnt live without dualscreen
flashed with a new firmware via LPT(had to assemble my superold PC since the utility didnt work with some cheap PCI LPT card), so far pretty good with blur reduction eventhough i had to adjust the config after playing on 2411t with full brightness for half a year
also raised the vblank a bit(on 144hz, doesnt let you raise it much :( ) so that there're less artifacts ingame
