Well technically, you're right in a way because they can ban anyone they want for any reason.

But apart from that, id software is not the internet police here to track everyone down and ban people for stuff not even happening on their servers. Report someone for harassment on their XMPP network, on the game chat or on the forums and they'll deal with it. Report someone for harassing you on Esreality or other private forums and they'll just laugh at you.

I think we both agree. But accusing someone of cheating like CAREEM does and other people consistently is ban worthy, it is assimilated to harrassement. Serious could ask support staff to ban the one who made the thread here on ESR about this. etc.

It should be morally correct, its just human nature makes it incorrect. People love taking out their pitchforks and going full retard. As long as there's no personal attacks I see nothing wrong with making a video (names wiped or not) to at least gain awareness. In this specific context of video games, I think people should be a little scared to use cheats as they will be scrutinized if they do sketchy things.

That's getting personal though, and actually completely detracts my example as I'm dealing with possible proof media eg. video and screenshots not ingame interactions. It also seems your talking about team based modes like CA and CTF which I'm not a personal fan of or familiar with but I guess are more susceptible to that type of behaviour. In FFA/DUEL gametypes that I am familiar with with its quite rare for someone to get kicked, and generally its because of a private server which is fair.

In your case if they did stalk you to specifically harass you, then yes that's completely wrong.

So many cheaters reported daily. So many changes in QL. So long time the existence of the game and there is still no anticheat. I dont know the reason and I would like to know why so? syncerror?

Looks like cheats to me, good video I like the part where he has a pre fire shot with rail and when he finally gets in line of sight he wants to aim in the middle of your model for extra accuracy points lol. It's also interesting how low his overall lg stats are on his profile.
