winjoining with 10 secs to go on 8v8 custom servers...and that for months and months and months. Long overdue but he had it coming.

Probably incubus. Only person I know who has endless accounts to mop up the newbs. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it. Elo does not represent skill in CTF, from what I see.

This is exactly why ELO is so stupid for non-tournament games. There shouldn't be a public ELO, and ratings should only be affected with tournament games.

Would there be any way for qlranks to come up with a system to award ELO points based on in-game points rather than the win/loss?

edit: or possibly award 0 ELO point, or way less points than you would normally win, if your in-game points are below the server average at the end of the game?

St_James is a completely idiot who tried to kick me with the excuse that i was teamstacking when i moved myself at specs just to balance the teams and start the game,so yes it could be him..

Yep, I can confirm with almost 100% certainty that St_James is KOMAP. Same behaviour, same comments when I warned him about winjoining. I had to kickban him earlier today from my serv for the same reasons.

So komap is (sorta) removed from qlranks...
Instead of being raged, or depressed, which we thought he was, he just makes a new account and starts doing it all over again.
And within ONE week he manages to get that account BACK to number one on qlranks CTF
probably by doing what he did before: winjoining on unranked 8v8 servers
Also only playing one map (courtyard), as that is the only free map currently tracked by QLranks

Please QLranks, either remove ctf from qlranks, or rethink the scoring system.

St_James keeps whining like a bitch. his team was winning 7-2 with the players 7-6 in his favour. I joined then we pulled it back to 7-7 score, he started whining for me to spec

I was referring to waiting until after shuffle to join the team he feels is the strongest, whining about teams not being balanced as soon as there's a chance he might lose even though they're not unbalanced at all, going spec before losing, etc.

I mostly play offence on a ctf serv with cpm physics and I usually have more points than defenders, but I guess attackers who don't cap will indeed have less. You're right that it might penalize some people too much. Someone think of a better system! :p

Kwizach, you'd better post here a demo. Your words are so brilliant always but actualy people will laugh at you if they check these matches.

Everybody admitted that you warp as hell. Instead you just suggested to find another server.

People switch on your server always and you don't give a f**k. You were the withess of a game 15 minutes before match i quitted, where somehow i manadged to stay in weak team and made it win. No quits, no winjoins etc. Like all other games @ a7x. And if somebody uses a cheat (warping is a kind of) - then i feel no sense of continuing firing rails to nowhere.

So just place here a demo. Else you words are BS and got no proof.

Justify your actions all you want: you never face any challenge, you never join the premium ctf-servers, nor pickups. Oh no because there might be good players there...
You only go for easy wins, and you first whine and then quit when your teams starts losing.
Why quit? not because ppl are warping or because you happen to be somewhere else...you quit because your elo wont get tracked that way.
And then you wonder why people start to kickban you?


You even abandon your PRO account the moment your (ctf) elo got reset
then you abandon your st_james account when it happens again
and your a7x account will face the same fate, no worries.

So that proves it even more you ONLY care about elo

For god sakes, just accept that losing is a part of the game.

This is the match I was referring to. You joined the server, then waited as spec during warmup until I shuffled and launched the game. Immediately after the game began, you joined my team (red), knowing full well it was the favorite and could hardly lose with you in it as well. Unfortunately for you, a player from the other team left less than a minute later (and after a first cap by me), meaning that the blue team had two less players, and everyone voted for a shuffle. The shuffle kept me in red but moved you to blue with Karenin. About a minute later, a player from my team left and you immediately switched back to red, as can be seen under "switched/left" for the blue team (you stayed a total of 56 seconds with blue). Since this is typically what you do (join the strongest team, or join a team in order to make it the strongest without any chance of losing), I immediately suspected it was you, which is why I asked "a7x are you komap?", to which you replied "??". After the game, I checked qlranks, and sure enough it was you.

In the next game, which you refer to in your message, you were not in a weak team at all. At no point in the game was your team behind the other team - your team either led or was tied, but your opponents never got ahead of you. And you didn't even score once, so you can hardly argue that you "made them win" - you contributed like others in your team. Are you supposed to get a medal for staying for an entire game in a team that was never behind the other team? You were never in danger of losing either, since you had a lead before the 20 min-mark with your team carrying the enemy flag.

Finally, in the last game, in which I played in the opposite team, you left like a little bitch when it was 5-2 for us and it became clear to you that you would not win. You clearly do not want to stay in a game as soon as you might lose ELO points. I don't know who's the person who posted above me, but he's absolutely right.

This might be the most pathetic thing I've seen in awhile...

Should be banned on Quake-Live & IP banned on QLranks. (Blatant stat padder and abuser, dedicated to ruining games.)

1. Win joining games for hours and hours on end, matches show he would do this for 15-20 games in a ROW. Sitting in spec and win joining with 2 minutes left or even 10 seconds? haha...

2. Instantly making new accounts to repeat #1 over & over... ADD much kid? Proof he is has a small child brain and gets butt-hurt over video games, plenty of proof of that.

3. Crying on esreality & trying to dodge the subject, haha. Horrible fail attempt. No one needs to post a demo kid, there are THOUSANDS of matches you can look up in your history showing your sad existence and abuse of QL Stats & QLRanks.

4. Constantly vote-banned from games, hated by everyone... Gee wonder why no one likes you or defends you ever.

Funniest part is... ANY of the top 150 CTF players would destroy this komap kid, literally destroy. Watch him play against tier 3's on hugely stacked teams and its still nothing above average. Bad...

I have not heard why squ1rrelly was removed, I didn't see any win-joining or team switching like the komap abuse, but maybe due to custom games giving him more ELO on wins?

Quake is a small community and is much better off without kids like Q_adrian and komap who dedicated YEARS to ruining video games... Sad.

Either way, ELO should be for Duel only, CTF elo is broken.

1) Statpadders don't play FFA and Duel, do they?
2) About quitting: Check % of completed matches. CTF, CA, any mode.
3) If I'm so lame - check K/D ratio. I have never seen anybody stronger @ kwizach's server.
4) CTF's ELO is broken for sure. But then it's needed to remove everybody from top, not only me.
5) As a7x I didn't make any winjoin, or any join after shuffle. So behaving better = getting more blame?
6) Quitted? Yes. But only once vs warping kwizach.

1. I don't think you can statpad duel as easily, if at all.
2. I think, unranked server stats are not count into, therefore quitting on servers like kwizach will not change your stats.
3. If you are always on the winning side, you would be even worse if you have a bad K/D-ratio as you obviously have weak enemies to shoot. If you would be the strongest on the server, you would not need to switch teams / stack. I consider you as mediocre but nothing extraordinary.
4. They should remove ctf elo completly aswell as ffa and tdm.

I don't care about elo as I measure playerskill by performance against me. But your behaviour is quite known, so I obviously recognized you and the funny thing is, when you just heard of somebody you think it might be just talk, but you executed it exactly as people told (join after shuffle, of course the stronger team making them even one person more, a match later change team with 1 minute to go or if losing, join spec and scream "Teams"). I actually had to laugh, when i saw this.

I would give up komap, all of your points are invalid and give you no support, actually they work against you even more. :)

1. Were not talking about FFA or other stat padders, don't dodge the question. YOU are 100% stat padder with solid proof everywhere known by everyone.
2. Quit %? hahah Yours means Nothing NO duh you have a high completed match % because you ONLY plays with 10 seconds each match... or with 2 minutes on a hugely stacked team up by 3 caps. Sad...

3. K/D ratio? hahaha again @ you. KD means nothing to real CTF players first of all, only proves you are a pub nub for considering it. Plus having a 3 or 4 KD ratio against tier 3's on hugely stacked teams means NOTHING and that's all you play. Check any of his games there were actually close with decent players, horrible score, horrible KDR, no caps, never in top 3 for team.

4. Yeah CTF elo is broken, so you choose to abuse it for hours on end every day of your life? I guess you got bored of normal stat padding in QL ranked games. You obsess over elo obviously, wasting more time on alts.

5. You admit to using alts, and not win-joining 1 game, wow amazing! No do that 9,000 more times and you are even with all your win-joining. Don't beg for browny points for not being a huge loser for 1 game.

6. Admits to rage-quitting and changes subject to kwizach warping, fail. Plenty of personal accounts of you rage-quitting on other modes, aliases, and even if you stopped, doesn't make things better for years of stat padding and abusing QL.


Bottom Line: Facts Don't Lie.

100% stat padding on both ranked QL games (thousands of games) & unranked QLranks (hundreds of games) games. Ban-able offense. Not to mention being disliked by the entire community and lacks any respect for anyone, therefor deserves none in return.

Average 4k KOMAP's damage and 5k+ of A7x damage = 100% winjoining 10 second before timelimit, violating eveything, cheating, padding, noobing, quitting, etc ))

Once I played a duel with him and when it was like 7-2 in my favour he just kick me from his server. I check his qlranks stats and saw several same games. I wrote to ql support, they answered smth but he hasnt been banned.
