didnt play 5 years or so and now 2100 elo after a couple of weeks playin.

Also it's not that hard to gain form with his aim+so much background of playing quake in the past. Only with returning his aim on his normal level it's insta 1900 elo even with a lot of mistakes.

His aim isnt in shape tho. His rail is solid but his lg is far from what it once was atm.

give him some time and his lg will be superb again. :)

Yeah, I feel that players left it up to be the decider often and then the whole set just didn't leave the same epic impression as if the decider would've been a more classic map.

I would prefer aerowalk decider every day instead of tox.

tox was only introduced because people were desperate for new maps and back then there weren't many good new maps. But now we have enough, and this cpm map needs to go.

slow spawning prevails once again...

i don't know if this was a conscious design decision from id but i really dislike watching games where players employ this "tactic" towards the later stages of the game in so many cups and finals.

imo it's kind of antithetical to the whole premise of duel. a mode that's supposed to be harsh and unforgiving for any mistake you make in the game.

just to be clear, i don't think evil would have necessarily won this game even if cypher hadn't decided to slow spawn, he wasted enough time and evil was clearly anticipating a spawn that cypher didn't spawn by.

but nonetheless i can't help but think if slow spawn was disabled at half time or at the 7:30 mark, games would be a lot more interesting towards the later stages.

I may suck as a duel player but I actually have learned to use those delays to reset my focus sometimes, so I would not want it to be disabled. Granted though some players use it to their advantage but hey its part of the game and its what you have to live with.

The standard of NA duelers is so much worse than the euro ones. Faceit NA is practically worthless till quarterfinals.

this faceit produced some really movie worthy frags, if someone is making a movie, please note the following list:

1. a number of them in the pavel guard match
2. Cyphers flick rocket on evil before taking bottom teleporter on bloodrun
3. Cyphers successive rocket frags on evil on lostworld, 1 before dropping to red and then another through the slit on the roof of the ra platform
4 a number of tough yet successive rails from cypher

- doesn't work through proxies (their player shits all over browser configuration and just attempts direct connection),
- doesn't offer quality options,
- doesn't stop downloading when you pause.

So for some it doesn't work at all, for others it's unusable.

However evil YouTube is, it doesn't have those problems.
