The company Corsair presents to your attention a series of four Quake Live! Duel tournaments Corsair Saturday Derby, which will be held 23/30 March and 6/13 of April 2013. The tournaments are open to all comers, participation is free of charge. The tournament will include cash and hardware prizes (gaming keyboard Corsair Vengeance K60 / gaming mouse Corsair Vengeance M60). We are waiting for exciting battles between the leading players of the European QL-scene, streams from ua.Shadow and report on our site.

BTW Corsair, my HS-1A headset broke, so I got a "Vengeance 1300" which was supposed to be the successor. Guess what, it was like listening to someone playing Quake in another room, that's how dull/muffled the sound was. What a piece of crap. I was able to send it back and get my trusty HS-1A fixed.

I still can't believe the company that managed to strike a genius product for Quake in their first entry to the gaming hardware market managed to fail so hard in the next iteration.

Rant over, let me go back on topic:

T4 is called in to replace hektik hektik. T4 is more tactical than hektik, but has the same insane fast pace to it, or even faster at times. Dm6 is alltimes favourite - a map with an unprecedented structure and allows the use of completely unique positioning/trapping techniques (due to it's structure). A very good choice for any Quake competition.

I was recently told to try http://livestreamer.tanuki.se/en/latest/ , and it works wonders � much smaller CPU usage compared to twitch's flash player.

nope. working creatively means designing and creating flash advertising spots and buttons on one screen while frag movies are streaming on the other. that's why I appear to be watching shitload of streams, but you really see me chatting pretty much only on lvl^, zoot and faceit streams. that's because i run them in the backgroung to distract myself from time to time and to suport community as effective as I can.

Is there any way I can get twitch to work properly? It's basically at the point where I just can't reliably spec any of the tournaments. Right now It's roughly half lag and half actual smooth play. Alternating between 10 second bursts of either.

Really sucks :(

ROFL so true!! Even against Strenx on DM13 he kept +forwarding into strenx's lg and took 300 dmg (also known as +k1llsening) because he wanted to shaft him so much!

Anyway a dude on "Cypher is streaming and his config" said cooller changed his sens and he's now using the likes of 32cm/360 and no accell. No more accell=more stable and sustainable aim but less flicking too: That would explain his messy RJs, worse accuracy on his flick-rockets and the improved hitscan aim. I think he's falling in love a little with his new hitscan aim and abuses it :D
