Can ANYONE tell us - what happened to Agent? Was he disqualled? Was he shot? Was he taken into sexual slavery by anhe? How come the most dangerous adversary to Evil 'can't play more in our league'?

Agent said he now dont want to play with ANY streamers, at any cup.
But we need to do the show, not only digits at challonge's bracket... So, agent said he leave the league.. very sad.

It's not like you didn't know Agent might pull off something, so why even bother with his strange behavior? A 'privilege'? As long as the guy delivers demos of his pov it's not a privilege, but rather a chance for the cup admins/streamers to make fun of it - Agent's history proves that no matter his manners and behavior he's one of the best chessmate quakers out there. As for situation where he reaches the finale - streamers might just run the fucking demo and commentate it 'a posteriori'.

Quite a new format, maybe, but it also reduces the annoying 'waiting for players to show up, to find a server, to connect, to warmup' delays on live stream.

Might be even implemented on regular basis on FaceIT cups - many times we've seen unexpected results for top contenders in brackets, while watching some boring low-level matches live, showing us some weird matchup choices instead of smth beautiful (like cooller-zeun or evil-seven), but with demos recorded all the way - zoot and ddk could cast the most entertaining recent demos up until the ro16 (and not wasting time for filler-talk about 'how have you been lately' for half an hour inbetween two low-skill games).

Considering what lans? What have you achieved on those LANs to prove you don't cheat now? Before you came here to EU you were pretty much unknown and mid-to-low skilled player, as far as your progress shows. (no offence, just facts)

A pro doesn't need wh to track your movement or predict situation changes with high probability (as u should probably know as a pro, don't u?;))

As for Agent -
Here's some LAN facts : ASUS cup 2011 - 2nd place (1st went to cypher),
Moscow Open 2010 - 1st place,
ASUS open ESWC 2010 Russia Preliminaries 3rd place (1st cula, 2nd evil),
ASUS winter 2010, 3rd place (1st cyfa, 2nd cula), and a few more lans, placing 3-4th.

Also, he won numerous online cups here and there. Numerous means 'a lot', fraze. Agent does what you don't, eh?:). He doesn't care to explain some of his decisions, but it all correllates with his personal life (girls, buddies etc) which he considers more important than waiting for an opponent to connect for 3 hrs. (he explained it a couple of times in russian ivews).

How stupid and insecure is a person who calls Agent (or any decent pro) a cheater with all the seriousness? U can troll and make fun of it alright, but claiming it seriously is a plain unrecoverable stupidity.

Agent only played on Russian LAN cups which very often have limited sign ups from the western part of the community, therefore having limited participation. And although the claim that agent may be a cheater is far-fetched (he's just craving attention, diva-style, like little girl with pigtails not like stronk men), it is pretty funny how much it made you rage, and that your accusations of insecurity seem to manifest back on you, since you're accusing a high-profile Australian player whose major Quake LAN attending history streches back to 2001, from an anonymous account.

I wouldn't call it 0 failures. I've scene cases of the opponent delaying an item considerably and picking it up when agent couldn't see or hear the pickup, and then agent appearing considerably early for the next pickup, i.e: unaware of the delay, while the rest of the match he is cycling them perfectly.

But yes, it is weird that he wouldn't want to be streamed at all, as even if he does use timers, it's not like you can be 100% sure that he's using timers through watching his matches, unlike wallhack or aimbot.

What should be wrong with this system?
It is head-to-head result as the first tiebreaker, what results in a 3-Way-Tie with a 1-1 result for guard/evil/av3k. This is solved with the second tiebreaker, the mapscore.

the wrong here is considering 2-1 win or loss different from 2-0. it's bo3, so it is SUPPOSED that u have at least 1 map to lose without any consequences. taking into account 2-1 2-0 difference is somewhat similar to taking into account the number of frags. what difference should it make how many frags you have dealt if you lost in the end (or won), the end result is the only thing that matters, no matter the frag amount/frag difference. Same with bo3 - the only thing that matters is win or loss, not the win/loss ratio.

full double elim solves the problem with pretty much equal amount of matches to play, but the FDE system is completely fair, so why not use it as a golden standard? everyone's always sure of consequences of EVERY fight, it's easy to track and it has zero chance of rendering results somewhat unfair.

Also FDE lacks annoying 3-way ties and shit.

The system takes the Bo3 W-L ratio as the main factor into account, but you have to use tiebreaker at some point and 3-way ties aren't annoying.

Full double elimination isnt completely fair, because it uses seeding. First of all, with 5-man groups you have to give a person a first-round bye and even with 4-man group it depends on seeding.
If you assume that A>B, A<C, A>D, B>C, B>D, C>D:
1st scenario
WB Round 1: A vs B, C vs D
LB Round 1: B vs D
WB Round 2 A vs C
LB Round 2 B vs A
=> A,C advance
2nd scenario:
WB Round 1: A vs C, B vs D
