Check it out peeps! Going to get some old Q3 CPMA map action going here but without the PQL, sorry guys! Just wanna borrow Phrantic for a night! Just a REMINDER it is on a Thursday not Tuesday!!!

This event starts at 20:00 CDT with check-in starting at 19:00 CDT, and is first-come first-serve, so check-in early!

Anyone who doesn't have premium or pro don't worry we can spawn a server for you and your opponent if neither of you have it! I would prefer to see all matches played on private servers with passwords in order to not have any disruptions!

Like I said to wonko in our skype channel. I think its a great map for peeps who are just learning to duel. Its a small map with only YA and RA so timing is made easier and it focuses heavily on the offensive aspect of the game being such a small map. I also wanted to do this map purely because its a map that does not have rail and its interesting to watch players not have that weapon in there arsenal.

Actually, it's huge with long narrow corridors. So it's the worst map for attacking.

So your saying its a huge map and a very defensive map I really don't see that. I agree it has long corridors but its not a very big map and it sure isn't a defensively minded map. Its not as fast paced as Aerowalk or Hectic because it does not have the multiple angles that those maps have it gives your opponent time when he spawns due to its long nature.

Here give this a read its an old review from Q4 but it is still pretty much the same map!! A Face For Radio

its a campy, spammy shit fest is what it is in ql. also in its current form its from q4 not q3/cpm.

it plays super different in ql as opposed to q4.

I really like the idea of this cup, and I've definitely enjoyed all the ones I've been able to participate in. Unfortunately I think Phrantic doesn't work in QL (not even a little) so I'm going to have to sit this one out. :)

Yes so far we have only filled one duel event(16/16) out of 5 now. But if there are more then 16 peeps wanting to check-in we will increase the bracket at that time. That is why the wait list also has 16 slots, and also why wait listed players can check-in immediately. So anyone wanting to play will get to play so feel free to sign up on the wait list as well!!!

Shouldn't need cash prizes to lure players to signup for anything. All you end up getting is assholes/cheaters/guys who probably should've moved on from Quake eons ago if they need cash prizes to be interested :)

If you don't think you can get enough people to sign up for it without prizes then don't do it.

Sorry ill remove the vids link. I had major issues with the stream during this event and the sound was horrible and the video was super laggy. The demos of the stream I am upload today!
