Kana has a poor sensor, for some people it's fine but for others it's really not good at all. Same goes for the Kinzu v2.

Abyssus is great, but the shape isn't really a WMO shape. Try it out though.

There's nothing wrong with Kana/Kinzu V2 sensor anymore, all those glitches were fixed with firmware update.

I have Kinzu V2 Pro and after firmware update there's no cursor jump bug, weird behavior on multi colored mousepads, etc, etc. Nothing, it just works how it should, except jitter at 3200 DPI.

Tracking speed is barely above WMO's. And "teflon" feet that come with Kinzu V2 Pro aren't really teflon and they glide like crap. But, if someone really likes Kinzu's shape and doesn't need higher tracking speed there's no reason not to get it. It's a fine mouse.

Though, I cannot use mine, damn thing is way too slippery. Problem isn't glossy shell but rubber sides, my fingers are slipping on that crap like it's ice. :/

On Kinzu V2 it's slightly faster than WMO, I get 1.75 m/s in Enotus test. Some people playing with 35-40cm/360 reported they are hitting malfunction speed.

On Kana perfect control and malfunction speed are 2 times higher than on Kinzu V2, but at the cost of jittering above 800 DPI.

hmm.. perhaps the kana is actually the mouse I should look into then.. I don't mind being limited to 800 dpi as long as I don't constantly hit the malfunction speed. :l

I guess you have a wmo but don't like it. Make sure its overclocked to 500hz using USB tweak, and then hf.

it's (almost) impossible to get a working WMO 1.0 nowadays, as it was discontinued more than 10 years ago.

Just buy any WMO that has that...crosshair logo at the bottom (red part)

i switched to an abyssus after years of wmo usage, I am quite happy because of it's similar type shape.

If you use a claw or fingertip grip, then get an abyssus. If not, then get the kana, but i would suggest logitech g400 over kana for palm grip and better sensor.

I loved my (now dead) WMO, and the AM has been a great replacement. Low lod, stock glides are fine, and I havent had any problems with the sensor whatsoever. Really glad I got it :)

abyssus are a pile of shit man they feel soooo awkward to hold, not to mention the tiny mouse feet causing the borders to catch on your mouse pad fucking up any sort of tracking. The 2nd day of purchase i returned that shit got my refund like a boss and went straight back to the wmo

I have a Kana and WMO. Both with PureTrak HD glides. I much prefer the WMO for Quake. I never really use the Kana. It just does not glide as smooth across my mouspad. It could just be I need a different pad.

try using smaller mousefeet, when I used kinzu the mousefeet were so big it slowed it down a bit.

the Kana is a bit bigger than the WMO. the Abyssus is much closer in terms of shape/size/weight. try the Abyssus, i don't see why you won't like it.

Actually I think the the kana is slightly smaller than the wmo, and much much closer in shape than the abyssus.

maybe i find it a bit bigger cuz it was taller or something..? i also find it heavier.

as something said, get a zowie am. best wmo replacement imo. gs version (glossy side) sticks better to your palm.
