Yeah, my 6990 can still max many games even across 3 monitors, but with things like BF3 more horsepower might be needed. And unless nvidia has changed something recently, you need SLI cards to run 3 monitors

You don't need SLI anymore, this is one of the new things with Kepler:)

nvidia graphic card lifetime is a joke since g92 i have some 10 years old gfx card that can run 24/7 without a prob. But new ones just die after max 6 month of heavy use.

The fuck do you do to your graphics cards.

i play games around 6+hours/day. Thats all i do to it.

So far i RMA'd more than 10 nvidia graphics card since the G92 generation (geforce 8800+) NONE LASTED MORE THAN 6 MONTH with such an usage.

And i dont even play super heavy games like Crysis and garbage like this so the GPU never get more than 50 percent usage and never exceed 60 degrees celcius.

maybe look into a different case or cooling solution rofl

I can make any PC sweat even with game likes minecraft, all I need is some heavy custom shaders like Sonic's Ether's Shaders and a water shader and 4-5 other heavy GLSL shaders, pump up AA +AF and the resolution, and it will knee whatever monster rig you have.

There are custom shaders out there even for old games like Half Life. Just because you don't know how to make games look better, that doesn't mean it's not possible, nor it means that they can't use all the resources you have.

Who the fuk wants to play Minecraft or any other old ass game with those shaders.

There are graphics mods for almost all of the major games out there, and (unlike you,) some people are actually likes to play games and not just sit there waiting for Samaritan or whatever.
