We are opening our November season. JeeSports are proud to present you a 4v4 Team Deathmatch Draft Tournament! Any player who likes TDM can easily play in one team with the most famous players at world Quake scene, even if! What is TDM Draft? It's a kind of TDM tournament where everybody play in a team they are picked in by team captain. How can you be one of the participants? It's easy! You should sign up for it and check in, then go to the official IRC channel at Quakenet.org to be picked in a team. HF!

I have a couple of questions, about when the tournament starts, "is it really on Nov 6, 2011 @ 23:00 CET?"

That date is only check in ends, after that we will draft teams, and first games will be started from Monday, it is "free" schedule, so teams can play their matches when they want, but we will have fixed dates of matches should be played.

I assumed this will be an evening cup after check in is over, but rumor is they'll make "match weeks" and stuff? What the heck? Will the teams be 6 players each to faciliate for player drop-outs due to silly dates being announced later?

This is the best example how exiting tdm can actually be. Especially the game balance shifting so often was really nice. Just when i thought one team might actually come out on top the whole situation turned around. Really enjoyed the games!

draft tournament is a very good idea and what tdm needs. personally i was never interested in ql tdm but if there will be more draft tournies i maybe learn newer maps to sign up.

A suggestion for next time might be forced dates onhand or maybe one-day-tourney :-)

With one-day-tourney i would suggest 4 players on each team, so that every players gets to play. I've felt sorry for the 5th guy who gets left outside. Draft tournament is very good to learn new players the mod and get new players interested to play, but if they're just left on the bench it sucks.
