/e: Do you know how long it's been since I really played some solid Quake? Couple weeks ago I was so bored and lonely that I thought I might give it a try again. I just had one strong Cuba Libre before that and the game got me so exhausted that I had to play OpenTTD afterwards to calm me down. :D

I wonder if the game creators were drunk or stoned whilst inventing their gamenames, which sound like some Cocktailnames could. Somehow they do exist.

depends on skill I guess. Skilled guy with friends, can make it in 6hours? Random noob in 2 weeks.

Never gonna happen. They have millions and millions of players that all pay $15 per month. At one point, the population was over 12 million(probably less now but it's almost time for a new expac so that will return to at least 10, soon).

10m x $15 = $150,000,000 x 12 months = $1,800,000,000 per year from JUST the subscription fees.

That's not including buying the actual game + expacs, server xfers, race changes, sex changes, faction changes(all at least 15 dollars per character), the pet shop, the mount shop, the clothing items....

edit: I should have bought blizzard stock in 2004...

imo Emerald Dream Vanllla private server is the only way to play WoW, currently.
