Why ruin one-flag CTF by making it like counter-strike? The CA style does not work with CTF. It's fucking retarded like that. It completely destroys the fluidity. When it's exactly like CTF, except with one flag, then it's like a popular sport: basketball, soccer (give it up euro's, people will keep calling it soccer), hockey and like 1,000 other games. When you have to keep stopping and starting over again, it's awful.

There's one major flaw with this devpick.
HUGE maps and lots of places to hide (scornforge), which results in really lengthy rounds/round draws.

Since when is CA=CounterStrike? As I know it the main goal of CA is to provide fast and action-heavy gameplay without compicated rules, hiding and camping naturally doesn't work well with action-heavy and fast gameplay. So the conclusion I draw from it is, that having huge maps in CA is definitely a flaw.

But if you're playing on a huge map, it would make peope ragequit and those people would start new servers and thus Quake Live would have many servers which would give the appearence of a large population which is good.
