What "truth" is he telling? That the President of the E.U. isn't elected? No shit he isn't elected, he's chosen by the member states to lead to European Council, not to lead the Parliament. The Parliament is the European institution representing the people directly, not the European Council which is made of the heads of state or government of the various member states.
Nigel Farage is also in contradiction with himself when he claims that Van Rompuy aims to be the "quiet assassin of European democracy and of the European nation states". Van Rompuy is heading the institution which represents the member states, meaning that he's chosen to be the OPPOSITE of an assassin of the importance of states. Farage is therefore simultaneously asking that the president of the European Council be directly elected by the EU citizens instead of chosen by the member states _AND_ that he should protect the states more (understand: listen to the states and not act for the good of the EU citizens taken together). If that's not contradictory populist bullshit designed to score points among the uninformed and politically-apathetic part of the electorate, I don't know what is. The gratuitous personal insults he throws at Van Rompuy are also pathetic.

The UK has gotten worse over the last few years, but that;s msotly becuase of immigration, but even the cowards who run the country are starting to see what I have been saying for years.

And france should basically just use those people in the woods as target practice. Start with paintballs, then pellets and whatever it takes to give them the messaage.

With a bit of luck the UK will pull out of the EU and we can sit back and watch the party, take back control of the borders, ship the crap from abroad and get back to running the world again.

Didn't follow his career or political views but I agree with his points about the European "Consitution".
The treaty can only be introduced if all countries ratify it. Ireland said no in the referendum, Netherlands voted no and the French voted no.
The E.U. pressed on with the treaty ignoring those referenda, changed a few things and introduced it under a different name.
