Lost World is bad and I really don't know about Concrete Palace actually, some high level games on it would be nice to see.

Maybe I can host it as a test-run on the weekend. It doesn't seem like 4v4 TDm will really take off just quite yet in NA.

I will happily play in it unless its Sunday during the day!


edit: 4v4 TDM, god I wish it would but really its just wYz, Nx, and whatever team cl0ck has for the night. More people need to TDM.

Hey Whally, can you just make it a 4v4 event instead of dividing it into tdm and ctf. make it 4v4 (ctf and tdm and even ca if you want). the best team should be able to win in which ever gametype. Dividing/separating the team aspects of quake into 3 game modes is bad imo.

z4 on t4...a thing of beauty. Poor gelleh - rematch on cpma3? gelleh wins.

There's only one way to do this. Get rid of all the old maps, starting with dm13, then ztn, then hub.

(Sorry about all the console stuff on dm13, and the casters had shit going on in the background keeping them from doing their thing, so we ended up doing away with it at about 6:00 into the first map)

acutally the spec chat was rather disgraceful. imagine (god forbid) someone just came across quake for the very first time or just not following consisntently and they see some randoms talking about jerking off and stuff in the chat. extremely unprofessional, things like this easily draws (a false) picture about how serious these games.

It's okay, we managed to figure out an arrangement where they could talk all they want and we couldn't see it. Made it so we couldn't see zero4 and rapha talking either, unfortunately.

hmmm, I didn't read anything about "jerking off" while watching that match live. I think the subjects ranged from WCG competitions, Quakecons and the ubiquitous AOL for Free CDs mailed to every American household during AOLol yesteryears.

The final was an extremely good game, dunno how rapha managed to survive that assault from zero4 when he had very low stack while zero4 had ~200:200 in aerowalk when score was 11-12 or something like that.

with about 12hp 0 armor, iirc

Everyone should see the game between rapha and carnage on t4. It was insane, no joke. Also Cl0ck claimed in ql chat it was best game on t4 ever, after some game with cha0ticz on qcon '02.

I do agree with his praise though. I've never seen anybody on t4 hit that kind of rail under those circumstances: 9:52 on the clock, just got rocked by some rapha rox, scrambling on the platform trying to get one last rail, leaping down to avoid bullets and squeezing out that pixel rail into the corner, somehow finding a strafing rapha AT the 10:00 mark! Not at 9:59; I guess it was 9:59:59!

no idea what you are trying to say, but I think you're again confusing cl0ck with chaoticz. cl0ck said this was the second best clutch rail on t4, after chao's last second rail to secure the win over fatality in the '02 WCG qualifier. I think czm's 3 rails vs Aim were pretty good, too. that may have actually been the old t4, though.
