about being saddened by ESR comments:

I felt that the frags in your last movie were good enough, but I didn't like the transitions between the frags. They often were just too long for my taste, so they hurt the flow of the movie by slowing it down. Something like that is good when the music slows down, too. But in abusive the music suggested action , while we say the player spamming rockets into an empty corridor for a second or two. Or for example at 1:55 you use a white flash as a transition and then we see someone craling up stairs.

Of course how fast a transition should be and how soon the action starts is personal preference, but I thought you did a way better job in Norwegianalized, so I wonder if a bit more polishing in that regard would have improved the whole thing. And by polishing I mean cut out 30 seconds or so ;)

I don’t completely agree with your point.

The thing is that if you have slow parts they must lead to something awesome and in abusive they were leading to just decent frags. Imo slow parts are nice, but you need some content to support them.

But imo that more like an extension to what I said, because I wouldn't think you want the slow parts that lead to something while the music is fast.
If you want to do something like that, choose a track that has slow and fast parts. 'new noise' by refused for example, but that has probalby been used in 5000 movies already :P
