The problem.

For a long while every shotgun pellet was added up to your hits/shots statistics. However, your accuracy was not calcuated using THAT hits/shots statistic (it's probably got it's own hidden stats). That's the reason that if you divided your hits/shots, the result was different from the accuracy you saw on your profile page.

Now I see they "fixed" this problem, so our accuracies dropped down (to a wrong value!). It should not include all those pellets added to your hits/shots (which was a bug ofc), that's ridiculous.







DoctorX killed some ppl with SG, yes he does, he shot 3 times with his SG, then ID software dev come and say, nono you are all idiots, here is how to calculate : he shot 3x12=36 times with his SG, and his overall acc is 12%.

But the overall acc got fucked, that I did not notice until now ^^ 56 and 51% seems pretty far off.

I reckon it has to do with the usage of the SG. The less you use it, the better off are your stats. Look at my stats - I have most kills with sg hence my lower overall acc. But w/e
