to be honest, i often hurried to get home, just so i wouldn't miss the pickup action going on (i played ra3). but since everyone switched to quakelive, i'm quite disappointed, seeing there's no one online and there's no real active pickup community anymore. the ways i see it, quakelive killed the irc/pickup community.
also, i was really good playing ra3 when i was drunk. but playing ql while being drunk is shit.

The problem is, you'd also get a shit load of dribbling retards who can barely strafe jump picking up main d's armors and running headfirst into the enemy base with nothing but a nail-gun (that's nail, not rail) before rage-quitting leaving that team a man down. You'd be better off playing public rune CTF map servers whilst drunk... crying.
So basically, here's a list of things QuakeLive needs (that haven't already been mentioned 1001 times before that we know it needs - e.g GTV etc)
