The ESL just announced that SteelSeries will be sponsor of their Go4SC2 tournament series. The Go4SC2 tournament series started with the beta of StarCraft 2 and features two cups per week and a final cup every month. This Sunday the SteelSeries Go4SC2 Cup #27 will take place and the winner earn 200 and important points for the monthly ranking. The top eight players of each month get invited to a monthly in which the winner gets 500.

In the first Sunday Cup of the cooperation SteelSeries is also going to raffle three hardware bundles between all checked in participants. Each bundles contains the following SteelSeries products: SteelSeries Xai Laser Mouse, a SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset, a SteelSeries StarCraft II Limited Edition Zboard and a SteelSeries SteelSeries QcK Limited Edition (StarCraft II Tychus Findlay) mousepad.


The last Wednesday Cup had over 800 participants and 512 players checked in with six minutes, the aim is to beat that number for Sunday and make the first 1024 player StarCraft 2 cup.
