I think he is pointing out that the so called discount is a sham :)

One month costs 5 dollars, therefore if you paid membership fee three times in a row you would actually save 10 dollars compared to paying a three months subscription fee.

yes, but what the didn't understand is that the $5 offer was only for the first month, as no leagues were presentend.

Therefore you would not have gotten the offer for the 2nd and 3rd months.

I think i finally got it now:
"Dropping" as in lowering price for one month subscription fee for the month in question.

I guess the one month subscription was already there before.. only the price must have been higher.
Regardless, the membership page should mention that the $5 one month subscription fee applies for that month only.

ctf is a dead mod competitively and quad gaming will go bankrupt fast if they keep giving out a lot of money for it and relying on people signing up (though i doubt they are even going to pay the prizes)

No, just other commitments. Sc00T had to leave at 8pm (I think in the end he stayed till 9pm?), and we didn't have 4 to play the final. Rescheduling wasn't an option so we got a forfeit loss.

He wasn't there, and as I wrote in the other thread, it wasn't important enough to us to continue. We played two pcws between the first and second quad cups - that should give you an idea of how low our motivation is to play CTF atm.

eo wanted it more, congrats to them.
