Today, April 1st, 2010 Valve Corp. and the Raging BunnieZ announce a $1,000,000 Elements of War Tournament.

When: May 1st, 2010
Where: Forks, Washington
Game: Elements of War (Requires SOURCE)
GameType: 5vs5 Arena (Dumbed down bomb/defusion)
CameraType: First Person (We're still debating on the top down view)

Valve: "We've always been fans of Counter-Strike E-SportZ. With Steam at over a billion users, we knew it was time to push it to the next level. On May 1st when you launch Steam, the main page will show you Steam TV, a brand new service we've been secretly developing. One week prior to the tournament we're giving out a free week of Elements of War. On the first the week ends, but you can still access the game to use Source TV(HLTV). During the week and until the tournament ends, all Valve titles will be 50% off!"

Gabe N: "At first we thought about spending 1mil on a billboard in some random country. Then we realized we could give 1mil to some random gamer who loves our games and every gaming website on the planet would cover it."

Raging BunnieZ: "When asked to join it was a no brainer. Our game was based around E-SportZ. Steam/Source tech, Red vs Blue, countless spells, male and female, ads all over the place, better than average player physics, no user base, we knew this was the $1,000,000 game."

IceIYIaN: "With Steam and Source having such an insane amount of users, I knew Valve could change gaming and E-SportZ forever. All parties would be getting filthy rich, including me (: The best part, five gamers who are truly into our hobby will get handed a whopping $1,000,000!"

fatal1ty: "I've always been into 1vs1 DeathMatch, but 5vs5 Arena is tight too. Without armor/weapon timing, I'll be able to unleash my rage against all who oppose me and my team. Great player physics, great spells, this is my dream game."

ESReality: "Well... It's not Quake, but it's not Painkiller either. We're just glad it isn't Unreal Tournament or Counter-Strike. Let's not even mention World of WarCraft."

djWHEAT: "Holy poopie $1,000,000 (: oh yeah, I'm announcing!"

Carmac: "This was kind of unexpected. Counter-Strike dominated the money tournaments for a long while then just vanished. I thought Blizzard was gonna crush everyone within the next few years with Bungie right behind them."

HeatoN and Potti: "It's time we frag some n00bZ again"

Angel Munoz: "This is -the- E-SportZ game"
