Hah, yeah, couldn't agree more.

While I'd generally agree it's not a misuse in this case, since UFO, in everyday use, has the strong conotation of being of extraterrestrial origin. It really doesn't matter that it was once used differently (and still might be used differently in military circles), since that's not how language operates.

I wish I still had the video my sister sent me. she and her fiancé were returning from an awards ceremony and heading home to London when witnessed seen some activity in the sky.

she was explaining it to me before she sent the video. i was having a hard time refraining from calling her a fucking idiot. i assumed she had been dropping acid.

the actual video was of crappy quality but it was very bizarre indeed. I can't recall it too well but there were neon-like vivid colours in an odd shape swirling around that seemed to be passing over.

as the recording was shit poor and her reciting was utter shite I couldn't really deduce what it actually was. weird none the less.

Problem is with UFO videos is that they're either so shit quality that they're inconclusive or such good quality that they simply look fake.
