ehh :X i hope its like 0.5 for 1st place cos the cups are the only importance on cb. most teams use the ladders for practice purposes with trial/lower skilled members to gain experience and a lot of clans ignore them altogether

following AGP logic this ladder will most definately give you 100 points!

It doesn't say it'll give you any points, just that it is sanctioned (follows the "AGP rules" or whatever).

The Quake Live Duel Ladder supported by ClanBase will be AGP Sanctioned. Every month a snapshot will be taken of the rankings within the ladder and the top ranked players will earn AGP Points.

The whole point of this, leading from you initial comment, is weather or not AGP is able to award players on the CB-ladders points, even though AGP isnt a part of Clanbase. And they can if they want to. Because of that, AGP and Clanbase really do have something to do with each other in the overall subject in this news post. Not that the two organisations actually are a part of each other, which you said was my statement. It is not.

what is the point in agp points? It is so basic that it doesn't take into count how many tournaments a player played in, what positions he made it to... it's just numbers to say WELL DONE YOU PLAYED IN A TOURNEY... we all know who the top players are I don't think we need a website to enforce this poor idea.

how many point do you get again for winning a zotac cup? 5-6?
so being first in this ladder should be worth about 0.02

edit: looked it up, it is
1st Place - 4 points
2nd Place - 3 points
3rd-4th - 2 points
5th-8th - 1 point

so every month someone will get 4 points, that's not too much even though its incredibly retarded, as someone just said, only a handfull och people will take a ladder seriously, and in a game like quake, there'll be like 2-3 players doing that. so jo, gg.
