I decided to take my dust-collecting demos and make a movie.
Good friend and editor Domino made this for me, and I hope you guys are pleased with the results!
I'm not the greatest defragger out there, none of these are world records, but I'm pleased with these runs.
Right now, all I have is the youtube stream and a Filefront link, but hopefully I can get another mirror up soon.

It was okay, but your mouse movements could use some smoothing. A small sensitivity decrease would probably even that out.

i use a similar config to what i play with: low sens, high accel, 100fov

lots of the maps were flat & very plain (long times where you're just running on a completely flat floor).

But then after seeing Master b0 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KVsSAw01Uk) a lot of speedrun movies don't seem impressive

Those videos aren't impressive either: there are done one by one, not in one attempt, no OB stuff etc and there isn't a timer.

There are some maps that you must run via 30 or more seconds and do some really crazy stuff if you want to have good time and you can't split it into 16 parts ;-]

Using weapons also requires a lot of skill, even is something looks easy at first look.

I wanted to dl this movie but my HDD space was gone and i lost 3h of downloading :-(((

I agree with King Bombs. There are plenty of weapon run vids out there. I prefer the KOS style vids with minimal weapon run maps.

There were some really nice (graphical) maps in there. Try to get more of those, coincidentally the ugly plain textured maps were also the least impressive :P

simple, nice atmosphere due to the music/config/runs/care-free approach by admitting that you are not the best runner. but it's the love of what you are doing that counts. good stuff!
