Today will be the 2nd day of the QuakeLive 2v2 TDM JapanCup hosted by CyAC with some known players from the previous cup such as

uNleashed,

feNda,

Bsan and some international known players like

proZaC and

Janus.

The teams that have made it through yesterdays 1st round will be battling today in the last 3 rounds for some SteelSeries hardware and the title of Japan (and Korea's) first QuakeLive 2v2 TDM champion.

problem is the pings in the evening between the 2 countries :( making this a very difficult tournament.

well there's a huge difference between at the start of the evening to the end. it seems Korea throttles foreign incoming connections when their network is having a hard time. So outgoing stays same, but incoming goes up :/ and there's no middle ground servers :(

Oh don't get me wrong, im sure korea are at a big disadvantage, being an Israeli myself who plays on euro servers I strongly sympathize with them, Im just wondering what their ping is to Japan. Are we talking 100+?

actually korea had a slight advantage, cause we did 1 map on each countries servers to try and keep it even. but it was difficult cause the japanese started to ping worse and worse to the korean servers :(

there arent many chinese QL players it seems. I know of 1 taiwanese player, but he couldnt find a teammate :(
