G Data just announced a new weekly Quake Live Duel tournament series with 100� for the first place that will be played every Saturday.

Starting from 07:00 CST, 21 November 2009 every week players have the chance to earn themselves 100� and AGP ranking points. The tournament page can be found on gdatacup.com, sign ups open from now on.

dm6.....its like playing poker, you never know what cards your opponent will have,(as in spawn) and if you get like royal flush, you cant beat it with a pair of 8s, no matter how good you are in poker

200� each weekend is pretty nice especially when the cups are being played this early. But I still think the 2. place should get 25� and the winner 75�. I guess it must be very frustrating to come in second especially with bo5 finals

do you use seeds?

I think many ppl don't sign up because of that and tourneys without seeds could reach 254+ entrants easily.

Would be awesome to see a tourney with a huge number of players and I beleive ql is capable of that. There would be also excitement for the draw. Like it is now, is like the vast part of the cup is already predefined.
