I disagree, woman's hour on radio four is the highlight of my day.

Yes! Radio is becoming better than ever. I can listen to my birth town radio station which is 17000km away. Just installed WunderRadio for iPhone, picks up nearly everything, including local and foreign police scanners. I normally listen to some random educational chat show before bed, good stuff.

+ you get this cosy feeling of being home, when you listen to your favourite regional station after being away for some time.

Maybe, I just think its a technical feat that's all.

well, a good station needs to have DJs who can still entertain you, wether or not you like the music they play over the day.
it get's a little more special in the evening. at least that's how my fav. station does it.
