Hello everyone, here it is: A Quake 4 highlights fragmovie created by

qah-kane. This movie contains highlights of Quake 4 TDM, CTF and 1v1. I was working with Suffering on this movie but for some reasons i had to end it myself, it took quite a long time for me to finish the movie but i enjoyed it alot gg :D

this actually might be the first time i saw some of those maps in high, or should i say normal quality:)

and no matter what the haters say, q4 turned out to be a rly fun game. (so in the spirit of the end sequence: tnx for everyone who contributed to that...from the moders (expecionlay AJ), to everyone elese, even id:) )

yeah, agreed. The "even id" line is kind of downplaying their part, since they added the capability to go >60fps.
But of course, Q4max team is definitely a huge contribution too.

TBH, I miss q4 tourneys, and I'm quite curious to see how the tourneys would look on current point release/ current q4max ver.

Q4 had great maps for duel (monsoon, placebo effect, galang, phrantic etc.)

QL/Q3 on the other hand is still stuck with faggoty dm6 and shit.. makes me puke in my suit.

i can assure you that q4 is at the same stalemate like q3.. you dont get to see any other map played than monsoon... the only difference is, monsoon is a good map.

hmm, it's a movie well worth watching!

Music and syncing could've been a bit better, but nothing to whine about really. Think I would've enjoyed it a lot more if I remember the layout of the q4 duel maps.
Also need MOAR DBD CTF!

I'd say it's a solid 7!

overall decent movie. nice frags and it was visually appealing. found that quite surprising since i used to hate the way q4 looked in comparison to q3.

but i felt sorta disconnected from the action. and i think it was because of the poor choice in music and almost complete lack of synching. found that quite disappointing.

but nice to see q4 again. is it active at all? pity about it really, cos i think if people ignored the baggage it comes with, its prolly a much much better game than ql right now.

Nice movie Kane. Really nice frags with average music. At least I saw some quake4 maps because I haven't ever started to play that game before it "died".

This movie reminds me need of totally new FPS game with different maps and new apperance of weapons. I'm looking forward to see Quake 5: Arena!!

Nice movie! Remembered me playing Q4 and really enjoying it...
But next time think about your choice of music because even if you like those rock/metal songs they totally suck ass for frag movies generally and Q4 especially... it should go more into the electronical/industrial direction :)

huh? I'm trying to imagine how the game looks made out of paper or un-round and I'm not seeing it. Considering the engine is the most advanced of all the quake's that makes even less sense to say it looks bad unless you just are obsessed with eye candy.

Editing, effects, visual quality, frags, uniqueness, variety, sequences, length, music all amazing.

Cant please everyone with the music, and if I were to make any suggestions it would be better syncing on certain frags. Otherwise I enjoyed it from start to finish and would watch it again.

Great movie if you ask me. As already said, unique intro, outro, effects, high quality, replays and more or less very good frags.
And comments above about 20 players. Those were just usually playing on pickups and idle on channel too. It wouldnt make it better if any of you whiners joined the game.
