QuakeCon is only one week away and the Live On Three crew is eagerly anticipating arriving in Dallas and broadcasting to the masses the great game of Quake. Quake Live is the only featured game in this year's competitions, with $50,000 on the line in two disciplines, Duel 1v1, and CTF 4v4.

QuakeCon 2008 duel champion Belarus Alexey "Cypher" Yanushevsky will be returning to defend his throne against an onslaught of talent from across the globe, including such notables as United States of America Shane "rapha" Hendrixson, Italy Alessandro "stermy" Avallone, Sweden Magnus "fox" Olsson, United States of America Rafik "LoSt-CaUzE" Bryant, Poland Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski, Germany Marcel "k1llsen" Paul, United States of America Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty, Sweden Sebastian "Spart1e" Siira, Canada Tom "griffin" Wall, United Kingdom Gareth "GaRpY" Marshall, United States of America Chance "chance" Lacina, United States of America Brian "destrukt" Flander, Sweden Pär "fazz" Söderman and United Kingdom Aaron-Anton "HELL" Jones.

The CTF action will also be highly intense as Europeans France Pierre-Emeric "link1n" Portier and United Kingdom David "deus" Kinnaird will also be making the trip, teaming up with Stermy and Fox, specifically for CTF. They will go up against top American teams Evil Geniuses and eMazing Gaming.

Jam-packed Quake Live action will be joined by new footage and information on new releases Wolfenstein and RAGE, as well as John Carmack's annual keynote, will make this another great QuakeCon.
