If G5, Habu and Sidwinder are good enough for your sensitivity then the X3 will most likely work well for you cause they all have the same sensor.

I've never used the Habu or a Sidewinder, but I have used a G5 which uses the same sensor as the G3 (which I'm currently using) and I have no speed issues with it (using between 22.5 and 24cm/360). So as long as this sensor can keep and and doesn't track like a donkey's ass, I'm fine with it honestly.

And no, a mouse doesn't really need 3 dpi buttons and switching dpi mid-game is retarded anywho.

With that sensitivity the sensor really shouldn't be the problem.

I also thougt about buying the X3 cause with ~32cm/360 I have some neg. accel. in extreme situations with my Ikari Laser and I want to try somthing smaller an lighter.

Dunno if the X3 or G3 can handle my sensitivity (my guess is that they can) but unfortunately I'm used to 2 thumb buttons.

I think I will wait with what SS comes up next.

Well no, they're not placed very well, they're way freaking far forward. But that's part of why it looked good to me cause the side buttons were out of the way. It's a smaller, ambidextrous mouse that doesn't have side buttons in the way and it doesn't seem to be hampered by a retarded shape. It also does 500hz polling natively.

I'd use the Salmosa, but the shape isn't very conducive to how I like to hold the mouse. I'd rather deal with the side buttons on my G3 than either be forced to hold the Salmosa like a retard or have my fingers touch the mousepad while using it.

So they're still using the same Avagotech sensor as G3, G5, Copperhead, Habu etc. ? Thats sad considering all the skipping complaints.

Shape looks good but if your a gripper I wonder if the rear sidewalls are inwards enough for good gripping, maybe someone knows?
