The problem is every time they try to add some new maps in these 1v1 tournies. During the tourney they never get played. Its just 22 and 3a all the time with occasional 15 or if you do add in new maps the people that you rely on signing up just get mad and don't sign up because they don't like the map pool.

either it's next to impossible to make a good map,or ppl just don't want to lose so they stick to the maps they know

Probably both, if not mostly the first one.

The only way to introduce new maps is probably to make tourneys specifically with those said maps. Problem is that most people probably won't be interested in them unless they know the maps already have potential.

I tried joining with firefox but didn't work so I tried using internet explorer then the options to join this came up. Try using a diff web browser see if that works

Revon yes I read that. But lol ok: I say UK server for map 1, I win, he says USA server for map 2, he wins, we both say home server for map 3, admin forces it to USA. I lose.

I would pick a neutral server for 3rd map. But if you both suggest your own server then you know nothing of sportsmanship.

considering this has been happening for ages (for example with nations cup - hi death) dont see why ur so surprised. doesnt really feel nice to be forced to play on high ping does it?

Yes, actually wanted to do this as double elim, but the GGL system is still being worked on. Hopefully it will be fixed by the next tourney.

Are you getting errors when trying to join?

Tell me the process you are using to try to join. The site has added a lot of new features over the last year and it has gotten a bit confusing. We are revamping it to make it much easier.. but in the mean time I should be able to help.
