so stupid. some random guy took a physics class once and clearly doesn't even understand the basic principles of the scientific method, yet he feels himself qualified to speak on theory.

quantum "theory" is one of the most successful scientific theories in existence. it has withstood the toughest of scrutiny over the years, bearing out countless predictions. of course all scientific theories are approximations which attempt to explain factual data and observations, and nothing in science is ever proven absolutely (or outside of science, for that matter).

science is not about absolute proof. and indeed it is quite possible that we have a lot wrong about the quantum world, but if something is flawed in QM, then it is unlikely still that something entirely different will come along to supplant; rather, it is insanely more likely that the approximation -- the model -- will be modified to better match observations, because it has been a very valuable and useful model to this point.

science is not about answers. it is about asking questions, mostly. scientists take pride in getting things wrong, in proving themselves wrong. that is from where its consistency and utility as a method (and system) arise.

and a final point I would like to submit is that, of course, quantum mechanics does not make sense intuitively. it does not have to. the world does not have to conform to human understanding, and in fact it usually doesn't. if things were wrong just because "wocK at esreality dot com who has taken the equivalent of an American Community College Physics 101 Lecture and rpobably dropped out," then science would be about as useless as my mother.
