last year there was only one little hall for games. boring.
many exibitions booths now were only for business (for example logitech). boring. last year it was overall full of boringness.

i will not go again in 2009.

why would you go to cebit for e-sports in the first place? its not meant to be an attraction of its own, its just promo for ppl who usually wouldnt be interested in it

i wasnt there for e-sports. but i was bored on the cebit and i thought to go there to have some kind of action.

i said to a friend in the car when we went home, that it was not good and he said right, most boring cebit in years. no gifts, nothing new. of course i had a free ticket.

its because the companys do more and more business deals, less for casual visitors. this is a trend. and also you cant find new products there.
in the past all presented new interesting products on the cebit - that changed too. more and more it changed away from a consumer exibition. thats ok with me, but if i have the feeling (and i had) that the companys dont want me there as a future buyer i will not go again.

i saw one good thing of two companys, huge tables where you can switch/strech windows in every direction (maybe for designers and architects and "24" control center haha) or play some kind of pong. you can find that in newer sci-fi movies now ;)

Last time it was terrible as always. 40 year old wannabe global players with sweaty armpits and bad breath checking out the beautiful young women some companys have on display there, dancing, posing, contorting, smiling and thinking "Get me out of here, away from these men"
