QuakeWorld Duel League (18 comments)

The QuakeWorld scene has a new Duel league coming up, you are free to sign up and have some fun with QuakeWorld.

Deadline for sign ups is 9th September and all you need to do is get account on its official website and Sign Up for this league.

At this time, there are about 80 players signed up and all of them will be divided into Divisions by skills of each player.
You are free to tell admins yours level by comparing you to other players signed up or known by scene. Players

Maplist of this league is classical: DM2, DM4, DM6, ZTNDM3 and AEROWALK. Matches will be played on BO3 and players will face all opponents in each Division. Rules

awesome. atleast they keep good games alive in europe! i wish NA still had the community as they do over there.. atleast people are playing qlive. ;)

there's people still playing QW in NA, and last i checked #american on qnet, there were still people in there getting games goin on

just checked #american, there's 24 people in it
not a huge number, but im sure you could still find people playing by asking for games or checkin qtracker or something

yeah i know there's still a few guys actively playing in NA, but not really enough to do anything outside of playing the game at leisure.

When these small duel leagues start up and get posted on ESR, can SOMEONE PLEASE SPECIFY THE CONTINENT IT'S TAKING PLACE ON

No where in this news post, or the site, does it say what region this is for. Joining these leagues only to find out it's Euro is extremely frustrating.

So PLEASE, specify =)

Everyone knows it's euro. There aren't any NA qw tournaments or leagues.

When you click on the rules link and go to the "server" section it is clearly stated that "This is an European tournament so if you are not in Europe and want to join the league expect to play with high pings."
