Play in regional Qualifying Ladders in a variety of great games, starting in April 2008
There are 7 Digital Games regions to compete in, so everyone in the world is included: North America, South America, Europe, Middle East/Africa, Asia/Oceania, China, and Korea (that is right - China and Korea get their own separate regions!)
In the Olympic spirit, competitions will cut across Sports, FPS, RTS, Fighting, Driving, Casual games, and other categories
Although you will be playing in a Regional ladder (and can play against anyone from within your region), you will be playing for your home country! The top players from each country in the Qualifying Ladders represent their country and could earn a chance to compete at a global final in Shanghai during the 2008 Olympic Welcome Events in August, with other gamers from around the world.
The 2008 Digital Games will also feature the first ever Pentathlon of Video Gaming, where we will rank players across multiple game titles and multiple genres to determine the World's Best Gamer!
