From what I've heard from my friends (who were at show in Berlin) the current tour seems to be for elderly people (chairs, champagne, expensive tix, Peggi as a support, etc.) :P But I'm looking forward to his summer festivals appearances - that's gonna be "the real deal" :) Keep on rocking!

awesome, pretty much everything he's done is good.
was actually looking at tickets last week - couldn't get any for less than 70, no doubt worth it considering it's two sets but bit OTT for me.

I find Neil Young's music to be bit too mainstream rock/sugarcoated except these two tunes which are absolutely awesome:

well that line alone sounds quite cheesy but in the context of the whole song (especially if you consider its' true meaning) it works very well IMO

instrumental album? he has one (entitled "Arc"), which he made after the suggestion from a guy from Sonic Youth, that consist only one 35 minutes long track, which is simply a mix of the beginings and endings of songs from his "Weld" album - from what I read it is not much more than a noise LOL

never heard of any bluesy instrumental album of him and while I'm not an expert on this topic I doubt there is one (of course except Dead Man OST)

Neil Young is awesome but I dont like his super noisy stuff (prefer stuff like pocahontas, my my he he (out of the blue))

The crowd was old... I think they all got senior citizen concessions. Lots of pudgy old women swinging their arms out of time, how embarassing.

Neil was pretty awesome though. He can still sing. He can still play. He looks a bit silly plodding about pretending to be a metal rocker, but I have since forgiven him.
