about mvds.
is it normal that when playing with seismovision, i either have the option to see the ingame chat, or to have the mvd capability?
when istart the demo, i have mvd, and no chat. then i press excape, and the chat gets displayed, but i cant switch POVs anymore.
is that normal?

yes, there is a way to get back to the first mode tho, i just dont remember how atm ;)

btw. if i want to read chat i look into the console :)

It seems that con_allowconsole -1 is always on during demos, you can get it to work if you set up your hud properly (I have chat at the top left and teamchat close to bottom left "q4 style"). That's pretty much the only way.

I didn't mean your hud is set wrong, I meant if you set it up in a certain way. Basically you need to use the cpma console instead of the default one.

if i look at game options i see that i can set cpma console.. but whats the command?

con_notifytime -1 I think, 3 is default q3. I think it was con_, could be cl_ or com_ or something else.

and the following (or similar) in your hud cfg

yrim and ia played cpm... but only ia had played the map more than a few times. skreem had played a handful of maps and wig had literally never seen cpm. skreem and wig and didn't have a clue... so they were told to play d.
