well if that was the best demo of the cup it must have been a big disappointment. the whole 'sneaking behind edges hoping to get a lucky railshot' thing is so poor. i guess i haven't seen a single grenade by k1ller. none of both ever had real mapcontrol at any time. i guess the winner wasnt determined by skill but by who made more mistakes, both made plenty.

Well i'm actually going to watch the demo now, though I know i'll regret watching it afterwards.

edit: at least you switched weapons, good one! Anyone can control any map, it's all about how much playtime you want to invest in it.

if two players decide to put as much into a map as it takes to completely control it. Which one of them will at the end?

And another thing, since you say "any map"

How about a map that only has one room, and no powerups weapons or armor. How will yuo control that map?

I have an idea for a new addition to the this system because most of the people here who have seen the demo want to discuss it without spoiling it for those who haven't.

How about a button on all demo posts that says "show spoilers". Then when we post comments we select whether it is a 'spoiler' or not.

Most games, even professional finals, start off twitchy especially since the players are usually nervous/pumped. Two minutes is not enough to judge a demo.

Incidentally have you ever even watched a demo? with such comments..

i watched most of the demos now and can recommend killers dm6 demos.
best map was in my opinion dm6 vs west. very nice control most of the time.
