Because i know agent and have spoken to him often enough and it's a well accepted fact that he was a known cs player who then switched to quake towards the end of q3/release of ql.
There is no need to 'believe' or 'asume' anything.

Besides whether you have the ability to form a realistic opinion on how much time you need to invest into something to beat someone is very doubtful, considering i played less duels then you and in the games we played I'm beating you and it's not even close.

There are a lot of people who can beat cooller or cypher online.

On lan it's different story. The pressure/surroundings etc are totally different to your normal comfortable home setup.It takes experience to be able to deal with those things.

He played at 2 ASUS Cups for sure, and he was at Russian qualification to ESWC 2010 (failed vs. evil).

We can't say he really failed, 'cause from I had seen agent knew he wouldn't go to Paris, so he kinda lost on purpose.

ps. agent attended Asus LAN in Moscow (which was played on internet servers) and performed there pretty good.

The reason for me opening the thread is simply that I'd like to know how the community sees Agent - there are certainly not many players in the world that are going to beat Cypher and Cooller in the same tournament when playing on russian servers.

Personally, I was astonished at Agents playstyle against Cooller in the finals of the ASUS tournament, and I felt that he was able to avoid Coollers path a little to safely too many times.
However, I'm just watching a stream with low quality, so I can obviously judge it completely wrong.

I'm just asking for input - if several competent players that face Agent often believe that he really does not wallhack, I have no problem accepting that.

Theres been many russian players that have beat cooller online and off over the years at asus tournaments. its alway been pretty standard that in russian tournaments newer players come along and do very well, sometimes winning the events, they just seem to know how each other plays.
however when it has come to international events theres only been so many that can actually play and win against the rest of the world.... cooller, lexer, polosatiy, unkind, kik, death, jibo, cypher, evil and morfez come to mind. agent and amai are just 2 that at the moment can take on the best russians and win.

Used search for asus cups and came up with:

11.48 - Cypher loses the first game in his group to agent [11-13] at t9.

It's Asus Spring Cup at LAN, last year. I can't comment further on it, as I didn't watch that game, just thought you'd care for a LAN result vs either Cypher or cooller. I wouldn't suspect cheating if one can perform well at LAN, but I guess we'll see (once he finds a normal sponsor) how he'll perform at other LANs.

i am not accusing him of cheating but sometimes when i play him it feels like he uses wallhack. with no other player i have ever experienced this feeling. he just reads me perfectly sometimes.

Agent is like a mix between rapha and av3k style. He goes upclose in your face when u dont want it (av3k) but then he starts to run away with positional +back like rapha after a lead.

However he isn't as good as either of them in their styles so sometimes he fails his +forward or his +back. Like vs cypher on t4

The best player doesn't always necessarily win on lan, the player who handles the situation best normally does. Evil is well within his abilities to beat rapha, but rapha has LAN experience which is invaluable, not to mention his unreal game brain..

not watched much of agent at all so don't have much of a point to offer as to weather he is cheating
