just for the sake of the onscreen text saying its recording, and d3dgear captures all games without having to manually select the games window
the compression not as good as OBS and only does avi, but you won`t get any game pauses like you do with frap and its terrabyte sized files
d3dgear won`t work if you have rivatuner loaded. you just get a black screen
