Why the hell would DaHang "pad his stats?"

I talked to DaHang the other day and he claimed that he played about 100games (or something, dont know exact amount) against pigp3n (cirka) even though "cirka ragequit most of them"

Seems the smart thing to do these days to get better at quakelive is /team s after a couple of minutes if the initial spawns don't go your way!

I really don't see how people think this will help them get better...

The other day I was watching cirka and he was having some kind of system problem that messes up his keyboard where he can only type question marks or something. Maybe some of the quits were from that.

Not 'stat padding' because once players reach a certain skill level (even at mine), they just don't care about or look at about the stats other than just sporadically at their own for a laugh.

Yea I wasn't trying to call Cirka out or speak of just him specifically...there are a TON of players who do this. I really don't see the point in quitting so early in games (I'm talking within the first 5 minutes).

It was so obvious it was just hilarious. That plus the cameos actually made sense (Ben Stiller as TONY WONDER)

Sadly, the fourth season which aired a while back does not come close to the first three seasons. The jokes are really deep sometimes and you have to get to know the characters and the story behind to actually catch all of them. It is imho a brilliant show that lives from acting and writing and not from special effects.

The 4th season they've done so well, i'm not sure if they've done it too good and ruined it for me. Must watch again.

It's my favorite show EVAR. It's so witty and cleverly set up it's ridiculous. Even the smallest, most irrelevant joke that makes you smirk can be so complex and you appreciate it all the more because of that. Running jokes that don't tire through different time periods (running throughout an entire series or more or even just a single episode). It just got marketed so fucking badly

It's just silly that it never got the viewing numbers to match how amazing it was. I guess it might be because you might have had to watch it from the start to fully understand the subtleties of some jokes but it's still funny nevertheless.

There's gonna be a movie anyway. Dunno how that's gonna work, but knowing the show, it'll be fucking awesome.

as for the spawns- yea they changed something in one of the past updates and they can be rly fucked up sometimes

on maps like dm6 i guess it could ultimately make someone a winner from the start

In a duel (dm6) I was watching recently one player spawned at LG and the other spawned below YA. Strangest thing I'd seen in awhile from spawns.

I have no idea. I thought the initial spawn pairs were supposed to be something that placed one person close to RA and another close to YA/MH.

Supposedly the spawns are now more "randomized" and if that's the case then the situation you described is bound to happen.

in first 10 seconds while cooller collects LG, MH, RA, RL and is going for the rail, cypher gets YA and then SG. That's not very even start by any standards. The awesome part is, that cypher still gets the first frag just after 1 minute of playing.
