That dude employed people, brought them into his studio and started paying them to work 9 to 5 (or so he claimed), started announcing partnerships, promised a Kickstarter... and now no news anymore... Kickstarted was never even started, there are no more "Amazing reborn show" episodes, and the latest forum post was in september 2015.

Does anyone know why? How? What next? Ever? Never? Is he going to change his name to 2bd now?

My Quakelive flag is wrong and then people keep talking Swedish to me expecting me to understand. Which I don't. So I'm wondering if there is a cheaper solution than getting Swedish lessons? Because I can't find the option to select country or flag in Quake settings, but I've seen other people change their flag (during game even).

My Steam flag is Croatian, but in Quake it's Swedish, so Steam doesn't seem to matter.

If I download a custom map from Steam workshop, and start a match on it, can other people join my match right away and download the apk file straight from me when joining; or do they have to download the map from Steam workshop first, and then be able to join my server?

I have been playing Quakelive for a long time now, and I would like to switch to Quake 4 just because it looks better, so I am wondering if there are other players online that play multiplayer gametypes? Is there a place where one can see all the current online servers and player numbers, before installing the game?

Sparks used to stream very regularly. Now there hasn't been any streams in a couple of months. Some people on Twitch mentioned a "controversy", but nobody knew what exactly the controversy is.

There was talk about a new Quake Live client yesterday on sparks' stream, after fazz has supposedly showcased it on his stream. Someone posted a link to fazz's vod where he supposedly played with it, but none that I've noticed.

Can anyone share any more information about whether there is or going to be a new client, and are there any screenshots or vods available?

After the initial broadcast of the sunday cup on the faceitcommunity channel on twitch a couple weeks ago, i assumed this would be a one-time thing. The reason was something along the lines of the studio not being available i guess, i don't really remember.

Then last week it was said they will again broadcast quake live on the faceitcommunity channel, but instead it was counter strike. The reason then was that the "counter strike team got to the channel first".

In the chat i asked around about why do they not stream on the Faceittv channel instead of this unknown and seemingly unrelated Ground zero account. The answer was that the Faceittv channel is for "studio stuff".

And right now, Faceittv just went live with Counter strike spring league.

I missed some number of games before, not knowing where they streamed, but i can only assume other people missed much more, as i was patiently waiting and directing confused folks from the counter strike stream to the quake stream last sunday.

So i have two questions. The first one is Why?, and the second one is, and i really know anything about how it works to be part of Twitch and being a broadcaster, but is it really a problem to have your own separate channels for games, like faceitquake and faceitcounterstrike for example?

As much as i found out thus far, the reason cypher isn't on quakecon is because he "couldn't find a sponsor"... But why is that?

He is the defending champion, he is still active, he is still beating the best quake players in the world and had very reasonable chances to win 1st place, so why wouldn't any sponsor want to put their name behind him? And what happened to Razer?

I can't find where the rules are anymore, but as much as i figured, i should have 4 available tournament participations each month, right?

I thought it was a bug that i wasn't able to apply for any on June 1st, so i thought after enough people complained, they'd fix it. But now it's June 4th and i still can't apply for any. Did i just misunderstand the rules or is it a bug?
