The Great QLive Friend Finder Thread (58 comments)
Posted by Lord_Jellington @ 15:11 CDT, 28 October 2015 - iMsg
What with everyone losing their friends list in the Steam switchover I thought it might be useful to have a thread that collects together old Quake Live nicks along with current Steam accounts. Post below and I'll copy them into a nice list here.

_______________

Edit:

After storm's suggestion fragtastic put together a shared spreadsheet with everyone's details, so follow the link and add nicks there rather than below.

Renaissance Tournament Hype (5 comments)
Posted by Lord_Jellington @ 18:44 CDT, 12 March 2013 - iMsg
The Renaissance Quake Live tournament is almost upon us! With a double elimination bracket and potentially both Russian and English streams, Saturday promises to be packed with Quake action.

The monster sign up list combines the traditional Quake Live greats with a selection of new blood: the likes of Baksteen, Demon and Evil, players who have risen to the very top of Quake Live shortly before or during the current "Faceit" era, will confront the traditional "Big 4" of the European Quake scene in Cypher, Av3k, Cooller and Strenx.

So who are the favourites? Will Baksteen see a resurgence after his recent dip in form? Will Dem0n extend the new found dominance that was demonstrated so proficiently in the Faceit Cup #22? Will the perpetually warping Cypher/K1llson/Matr0x/Guard lag their way to a 50 second BO5 final against a raging Spart1e? What is certain is that with a $2500 prize pool this event should be one of the haroshest online cups ever seen in Quake Live. Please place your comments, predictions and trolling below.

Special thanks to Liza for sponsoring the event and Cooke for organising it.
